Rectory Construction specialises in New Build and Conversion Projects, and has successfully taken on many complicated properties including listed buildings, conservation areas and Eco homes.
Each project specifies the exterior finish and Rectory Construction has experience working with traditional Brick or Stone (either new sawn-on-bed, or reclaimed), or for a more contemporary look steel, cladding or render.
New Build:
This property was built on a ‘Green Field’ site, and the specification included:
- Reclaimed Ironstone and Limestone which we sourced
cropped and sized - Timber framed triple glazed windows
- Solid floors
- Underfloor heating
- Ground source heat pump
Barn Conversion:
These barns had been more recently been used as offices, but required complete restoration to convert into 3 bedroom properties. The major works included:
- Adding structural supports
- New roof
- Repairing walls and repointing
- Insulation to roof, walls and floors
- Air Source Heat Pump
Barn Conversion:
This barn originally had Planning Permission as a storage facility. Rectory Construction went back to the planners and obtained permission to convert into a 3 bedroom house. The works included:
- New roof
- Replacement floors
- Repointing
- Structural ties, crack stitching and steels
- Underfloor heating, using Air Source Heat Pump
Factory Conversion:
This factory which originally was a Boot and Shoe factory in Northampton town center, was more recently used to produce parts for the Aerospace industry. The building did not require much alteration to the outside, however it was completing renovated internally to reconfigure it into 5 separate apartments.
